Additional Information about the Admission/Discharge RN position:

  • Coordinate discharge care for the 147- bed Hospital
  • Work with Directors from all departments, to ensure effective discharge process and positive patient experience
  • Assist in identifying trends, recognitions, delays in care or discharge disposition issues.
  • Maintain greater than 75th percentile for discharge phone calls on all inpatients discharged and surveyed through Press Ganey
  • Provide Directors, CNO, ACNO and Director of Clinical Operations daily updates on discharge phone calls.

  • Nursing graduate with RN Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • BSN preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or compact state
  • BLS required
  • Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing required
