Position: Registered Nurse Critical Care
Department: Emergency Room
POSITION SUMMARY (includes, but is not limited to):
The Registered Nurse as an Emergency Room Nurse performs the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients. Meets Standards of Care and Standards of Practice. Supervises assigned personnel. Promotes collaboration with physicians and personnel of other departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Graduate of a school of nursing required. License/Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and CPI must be obtained within (90) ninety days from date of Hire/Transfer Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ experience in an emergency department of an acute care facility preferred. Minimum one (1) year critical care experience and/or the successful completion of a recognized critical care course or Orientation to Emergency Nursing Course.
